Beep beep

Old School VW

We wrap busses.  Big and small.

Say hello to our little friend.

A new Machinery client.  Stay tuned …

Crash boom bang

Photographer Martin Klimas rigged a camera to go off at the sound of his porcelain figurines as they hit the deck from 10 ft up.  The shards add to the whirlwind violence.  Amazing idea.

Yeti in the house

Had to pick up this cool Yeti at Night print for the Machinery Headquarters.  It’s neato and the right color scheme.  By Ryan Snook at Society6.

Drip paintings

Artist Matthew Davis drips oils onto a canvas in a way Pollock never dreamed.  Dreamy, no?

Pencil portraits.

This guy is literally BLOWING OUR MINDS.   Artist Paul Chiappe draws tiny school-portrait photos and more — with just a freakin’ pencil.  Made us look twice and then twice again.  Also check the article at the Daily Mail.

We want one!

Not sure how it sounds, but we would love one of these invisible speakers over at the Machinery Headquarters.  From the folks over at Peoplepeople.  We would’ve waited in line for Black Friday, but we think they’re in Sweden.  Hint, hint.

Siberian-size art. Literally cool.

Just love this large-scale environmental art.  Some of the circles are a mile in diameter.  Great story about the artist Jim Denevan over at the Anthropolgist.

Was fishing around the web

We really have to get one of these for the Machinery office.  Of course, we’ve been on the road a lot, so it might starve.  At least it’ll die in style.  Check out the bubble bowl at Psalt design.

Method Man for Sour Patch Kids

Gotta hand it to Sour Patch Kids for inspired pairing.  Of course Wu Tang has mentioned SPKs in the past.  Someone was paying attention!  Kudos.
